Chelsea Carrera is an independent Porsche specialist in High Wycombe, run by Lawrence McGovern. It’s a small workshop by choice. You deal directly with the person working on your Porsche, and every car is looked after by people who know it.
Lawrence McGovern
Lawrence has worked on Porsches for more than 40 years. His career began at AFN, one of the oldest names in British Porsche history, and continued at Ruf GB, where he worked on the CTR2. He then set up Chelsea Carrera in a workshop behind the Stamford Bridge stables in Fulham.
Over the last ten years the business has moved to High Wycombe. Many London clients came with it, and we still collect and deliver their cars.
How we work
Genuine Porsche parts as standard, Mobil lubricants and PIWIS 4 diagnostics. Lawrence only fits parts he trusts, even when something cheaper is available, because a part that fails early costs the owner more. And we’ll always tell you honestly what your car needs, what can wait and what isn’t worth doing.
