Porsche Cayenne Specialist in High Wycombe
The Cayenne is a big, complex car, and once it’s out of warranty it deserves the same specialist attention as any other Porsche. We service, diagnose and repair every generation of Cayenne at our workshop in High Wycombe, with genuine Porsche parts as standard and Porsche’s own PIWIS 4 diagnostics.

Every Cayenne generation
- First generation (2002 to 2010): the original Cayenne and its facelifted successor
- Second generation (2010 to 2017): lighter, more efficient, and the most common Cayenne we see
- Third generation (from 2017)
Petrol V6 and V8, Turbo and diesel versions are all welcome. Automatic Cayennes use Porsche’s Tiptronic gearbox, a conventional automatic with its own servicing needs.
What we look out for
A Cayenne is heavy and often well used, so brakes, tyres and suspension joints work hard. Many have air suspension, whose springs and compressor age like any other part. Older cars bring age-related cooling and drivetrain work, and every Cayenne carries a lot of electronics, which is where proper diagnostics earns its keep.
Our guide to common Cayenne problems covers each generation in detail.
Servicing and repairs
Every Cayenne is serviced to Porsche’s schedule for that model, with Mobil lubricants and genuine Porsche parts as standard. There’s a wide range of parts on the market for these cars, and we’ll explain the options, but Lawrence only fits parts he knows will last. Repairs, from brakes and suspension to fault-finding, are part of our maintenance and repair work.
Buying a used Cayenne
A Cayenne with a complete history is worth paying for. A pre-purchase inspection at the workshop checks everything from the stored fault codes to the suspension and brakes, so you know what you’re buying and what it’s likely to need.
Common questions
Can an independent specialist service a Cayenne?
Yes. A specialist with Porsche diagnostic equipment can service a Cayenne to Porsche’s schedule, using suitable parts. If the car is still under Porsche’s warranty, warranty repairs themselves are carried out by a Porsche Centre.
Does the Cayenne have a PDK gearbox?
No. Automatic Cayennes use Tiptronic, a torque-converter automatic, rather than PDK. Its servicing follows the Cayenne’s own schedule.
Do you work on diesel Cayennes?
Yes. We look after petrol and diesel Cayennes of every generation.
