How do I book my Porsche in?

Call us on 01494 534834 or email info@chelseacarrera.com with the model, year, mileage and what the car needs. We’ll confirm what’s due and arrange a date.

When are you open?

Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5:30pm, and Saturday, 8:30am to 12:30pm. We’re closed on Sundays.

Where is the workshop?

Unit 1 Chilton Works, Lincoln Road, Cressex Business Park, High Wycombe, HP12 3RD, a few minutes from junction 4 of the M40.

What if you don’t answer the phone?

We’re often under a car. Please try again or send an email, and we’ll get back to you.

Which Porsches do you work on?

Every Porsche, from air-cooled 911s and the front-engined 924, 928, 944 and 968 to the Boxster, Cayman, Cayenne, Macan and Panamera. Most of our work is on the 964, 993, 996, 997 and 991.

Do you use genuine Porsche parts?

Yes, as standard. We’ll also explain OE and aftermarket alternatives where there’s a real choice, but we only fit parts we know will last.

Do you have Porsche’s diagnostic equipment?

Yes. We use PIWIS 4, Porsche’s own diagnostic system, which reads every control unit on a modern Porsche. See Porsche diagnostics.

Do you replace IMS bearings?

Yes. We replace IMS bearings on the M96 and M97 engines, usually alongside a clutch change. See IMS bearing replacement.

Do you have fixed service prices?

No. Parts prices change constantly, and the cost depends on your car and the parts you choose, so we quote each car individually. Porsche service costs explained sets out how our quotes work.

Will using an independent specialist affect my warranty?

Routine servicing by a qualified independent to Porsche’s schedule, with suitable parts, shouldn’t on its own affect the manufacturer’s warranty in the UK. Extended and Approved warranties have their own terms, so read them. Our guide to specialists and main dealers explains more.

Do you collect cars from London?

Yes. We collect and deliver cars for London clients. See Porsche servicing for London owners.

Can you inspect a Porsche before I buy it?

Yes. Our pre-purchase inspections cover every aspect of the car and are carried out at our workshop in High Wycombe, so the car needs to come to us. We don’t do mobile inspections.
