Porsche Macan Specialist in High Wycombe
The Macan has become one of the most popular Porsches on UK roads, and the earliest cars are now well over ten years old. We service, diagnose and repair the Macan at our workshop in High Wycombe, to Porsche’s schedule and with genuine Porsche parts as standard.

The Macans we see
The petrol and diesel Macan, built from 2014, came with four-cylinder and V6 engines, from the Macan and Macan S to the GTS, the Turbo and the S Diesel. Every one has four-wheel drive and Porsche’s PDK dual-clutch gearbox.
What we look out for
A Macan is quick and heavy, so brakes, tyres and suspension wear faster than many owners expect. The PDK gearbox needs its oil changed when Porsche’s schedule says, and the four-wheel-drive system is worth checking on older cars. As the first Macans pass ten years old, age-related items such as hoses, seals and bushes start to matter more.
Our guides to Macan servicing and common problems and PDK maintenance go into the detail.
Servicing and repairs
Every Macan is serviced to Porsche’s schedule, with Mobil lubricants, genuine Porsche parts as standard and PIWIS 4 diagnostics, so warning lights and stored faults are read properly. Brakes, suspension and other repairs are part of our maintenance and repair work, and diagnostics gets to the bottom of electrical faults.
Buying a used Macan
Plenty of Macans have led busy lives. A pre-purchase inspection at the workshop checks the service and PDK history, the brakes, suspension and drivetrain, and the stored faults, so you know what you’re taking on.
Common questions
How often does a Porsche Macan need servicing?
Porsche sets both a mileage and a time limit for each Macan service, whichever comes first. A Macan that does few miles still needs servicing on time.
Does the Macan’s PDK gearbox need servicing?
Yes. PDK oil changes appear in Porsche’s maintenance schedule for the Macan. Check the history shows they’ve been done.
Will servicing my Macan with an independent affect the warranty?
Routine servicing by a qualified independent to Porsche’s schedule, with suitable parts, shouldn’t on its own affect the manufacturer’s warranty. Extended and Approved warranties have their own terms, so read them.
